Saint Cloud Bike Fit
Performance Through Comfort
At Saint Cloud, we believe that the foundation of great performance is comfort. Our new bike fit service is a collaborative process, designed to help you ride faster, further, and happier—without fighting your bike.
Now, that might sound counterintuitive. Comfort and performance don’t always show up in the same sentence. But think about it: if you’re shifting constantly, sliding around on the saddle, or dealing with recurring pain, you’re not riding at your best. Cycling is one of the only endurance sports where you’re seated the whole time—and humans weren’t exactly built for that. Our job is to help you find a position that’s powerful, sustainable, and suited to your unique body and goals.
The Fit Philosophy
Performance Through Comfort
If you're not comfortable, you can’t perform—plain and simple. Whether you’re doing a 30-minute time trial or a five-hour fondo, your position on the bike directly impacts your efficiency, power output, and likelihood of injury.
We aim to remove discomfort from the equation. The only acceptable reason to feel smashed at the end of a ride should be overexertion—not nagging pain or poor position.
Collaboration First
Every great fit starts with a conversation. We take time to understand your riding history, current challenges, injury background, and goals. Then, using modern tools and real-world experience, we work together to find the best setup for you.
Technology as a Tool, Not a Crutch
Yes, modern bike fitting involves tech—3D motion capture, pressure mapping, dynamic measurements—but these are tools, not answers in themselves. They support an experienced fitter in making informed decisions, not replacing them.
What to Expect
During your fit, we’ll assess your position, identify any issues, and make necessary adjustments. It’s important to understand that a bike fit is a snapshot in time—your body, strength, flexibility, and riding style will evolve. We recommend periodic follow-ups to stay in sync with your riding.
