CHARLIE’S CURVE CXR BUILD

IMG_2376

Charlie came to us with his trusty road bike that was in dire need of a service. Realising that it was becoming a little long in the tooth, we pursued some options that would not only help Charlie tackle his commute, but also leave all options open for him to hit both gravel, single track and with a quick tyre change, spend some time logging k’s on the road.

After discussing what he would prefer with his setup, we came to the conclusion that he wanted something to tick all of the “boxes” and that lead us quickly towards a titanium Curve CXR. We’ve specced this build with both a 32mm sealed/bike-path tyre option on the new Vittoria Graphene Revolution’s and the Surly Knard in 41mm to take care of all single-track and gravel duties.

The SRAM CX1 Group keeps things simple and robust. Paired with the ever reliable DT240 hub-set laced to Curve’s own 25mm wide and 38mm deep carbon clinchers. These are light, tight and ready for anything Charlie will throw at them.

Finished with a 3T Pro level cockpit and an SMP Dynamic saddle to suit, he’ll be comfortable rolling to work, or shredding the trails.
