DESIGN THE POSTER FOR THE TRACK CHAMPS!
“A partnership with the 2012 UCI Track World Championships, Chasing Rainbows is a poster design competition, paying homage to the much loved vintage bicycle poster.
Entrants are required to submit designs that incorporate key information on the event and include the world championship ‘rainbow’ stripe in the design. The winning entry will best capture the vintage style of the traditional bicycle poster. All entries will be displayed online at both the Bikefest and 2012 UCI Track World Championship websites, and an expert judging panel will select five finalists.
An exhibition and award ceremony will be held in in March, displaying all entires. One winner will be selected and aside from winning $1000 in cash, their poster design will be used in an outdoor media campaign in the lead up to the main event. The four remaining finalists will receive a $500 cash prize and their designs will be available as souvenir merchandise for the world championships.”
